21 winners will be awarded by AVICOM at its International Media Festival f@imp 2021+2022 (Festival of Audiovisual and Innovative Museum Media Productions. More than 60 applications have been submitted – productions from the fields of augmented and virtual reality, interactive media, short and medium-length films, creative and interpretive exhibition installations, education and outreach, and websites.
It has been gratifying to see the participation of museums from almost every continent. Some contributions dealt with the situation of museums in times of the pandemic.
The history of f@imp began with the first festival in Buenos Aires in 1996. Since then, it has been held annually, usually at the location of one of the museums that were winners at the previous festival.
However, due to the pandemic, the 2021 and 2022 festivals had to be merged, so this time there will be a joint award ceremony for both festivals.
This year, the festival and award ceremony will take place during the 26th ICOM General Conference in Prague: Thursday 25 August at the National Technical Museum.
As an ICOM member, you are cordially invited to attend. As the number of participants has to be limited, we kindly ask you to register early: email@example.com
