The electorate was requested to vote among the proposed list of candidates for 1 President, 2 Vice-Presidents, 1 Treasurer and 11 Ordinary Members. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3> The Executive Council of ICOM<\/h3>\n<p>The Executive Council is the governing body of ICOM and generally meets twice a year. It ensures that the decisions and resolutions of the General Assembly are given effect and that ICOM&#8217;s Strategic Plan is carried out. It takes action to implement the proposals and recommendations of the Advisory Committee and, if necessary, co-ordinates the work of National Committees, International Committees and Regional Organisations.
