Promoting exchange, initiating and supporting cooperations between museums with limited human and financial resources and museums with better opportunities in the field of audiovisual media as well as advising museums with little media experience: these are the tasks of the new AVICOM Regional ambassadors.

CENTRAL AMERICA, LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN

As ambassador, Karina Rebeca DURAND VELASCO of Mexico City will be responsible for Central and South America. The museum expert, who is well connected with museums in Latin America, has been involved with AVICOM since 1991. For several periods, she was its vice-president.
