Preliminary Program
The AVICOM committee has unveiled its preliminary program for the AVICOM Montréal 2012 conference! Plan to attend this prestigious conference to hear about the latest trends in museology and technology from academics, museum experts and multimedia professionals from around the world. Ten different countries will be represented: Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, USA, France, Guyana, Hungary, Italy and the Netherlands.
New Media Scholar Jon Ippolito will kick off the AVICOM 2012 conference while our keynote speaker for the second day is Sebastian Chan, a cultural sector specialist in social media and Web 2.0 applications.

FIAMP Competition
For the last 15 years, AVICOM has promoted and recognized excellence in audio-visual and multimedia creations from around the world with the FIAMP.
All museums are invited to submit their audio-visual (film, video) and multimedia productions (websites, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, kiosks, mobile applications, new museologies, etc.) before the new deadline of June 7, 2012.
